and the last few from Waddington

and a few more
how strong?
Last RAF Canberra display crew?
Did you hear anything behind you?

and a couple more

Got to admit that i was B***** lucky. I walked around for an hour looking at the static after the last item. As i walked back to the car i noticed that one of the car parks at the A15 end was horendous, approx 60 rows of cars trying to get in to one lane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The bottom exit was (possibly) blocked by an accident so that was just as bad. I looked at the centre exit (by where the Vulcan used to be) and there was only one row of cars and that had approx 10 cars in so i joined that and was off the base in EIGHT mins. I cant believe how lucky i was.
Nice to see differnet shots of Old Warden as they can get a bit samey
T J,
whats with the Uriah Heep album cover? Abonimog isnt it?
For further images look at the other cosford trail thats going
Heres a few pics from Sat, think the Spit was a bit quicker than me when i was trying to photograph it?

Heres this weekend shots from Cosford, yes the airframes will be protected in the new hanger and thats fantastic but youll never get a clear shot again.
Personally id rather never have a clear shot again as long as the airframes survive.

RobAnt, no dont mind at all. Def can see a difference, especially in the flying shot. How long did this take to do?
What time did the yak go? missed it.
A few shots for your thoughts. Earlier in this thread it had been mentioned that the Brit was rusting away, the following shot is the worst damage that i can see on the airframe except for the undercart which ive posted a pic of before. This damage looks as if it was caused by storm damage as well.
Now compare to the pics of the underside of the VC10 and (a personell opinion) i dont think it is worth saving (cost) and will not be around for much longer as it may be to far gone. Please accept that i am not an aircraft engineer so my opinion may be wrong.
Which airframe looks the better long term prospect?

Was a bit unsure when got there yesterday but for a first time event, great. Really relaxed. Keep up the good work and ill post a few shots here later.
Wish id seen it to. Its a pic on the wall in the viewing area of what future air liners will look like. Couldnt resist posting it. Sorrrrry
Thats same lens as mine but not the dedicated digital one. Trial and error me thinks or win the lottery. Thanks for tips.
