Hi.

Please feel free to post as many as you like as and when the system is up and running again.
See ya…….
Lancaster, again.
Sea Fury, (Centaurus engine) again.
Spitfire.
AvroF: Have you got a date for when these pics were taken?
Am I right in remembering that it’s first post-restoration flight was very early 1992? About tea time.
September 4/5th 1993. On our way home from Oostmalle.
I think it was early 1992.
Would I be right in saying that’s the Thames Estuary down there…?
Not unless they moved it to Belgium.
Looks like TBirdman flying it.
At least he hasn’t got that “tea towel” wrapped around his head.
Does anyone know of any old Jet Engines or Prop Engines that are for sale dirt cheap??
They don’t have to be pristine as prepared to work on them…
The idea is to trailer mount and take around to shows – anyone?
Perhaps you could PM………..
Stick a bid on the Merlin on eBay, go on you know you want it. !!!!!!!!!! :dev2:
A pity the seller does not state what Mark of Merlin this is……
Hi all, its a 700 series. Different back end with injector carb. very high mod state though, pos the highest you can get.
I took a few shots tonight of Halifax NA337 at the RCAFM Museum.
Her wings are now re-attached.
What a beautiful site!
The below is from a Lancaster addict….
This project is a credit to your efforts, Its a shame some of the major organisations this side of the pond cant turn out this sort of restoration.
keep up the good work. One day I may even get over to see it with my own eyes.
Headen????????????????????????????????????
Avro the only great lump in the hangar is one of my Cpl’s
Only one of them? >>>>>>>>>> :dev2:
Here’s 2 for you, as you can see XH672 is looking pretty good now that Cosford have finished the repaint (taken December 2004) and a sad shot of poor old XH650 on the Manston Fire Ground 1978.
XH650 looks better than Duxfords example.
About to be grafted on to the front of an old Spitfire I guess so as to save costs….
Boil ya head !!!!!!!!
I’m still chuckling at the above comments – sorry – photo re sized and hopefully attached!!

Septic.
TFC P38 first display, I have some air to air of that on the way back to Duxford, will dig them out and put them up. Also, I recognise myself running the TFC Hurricane in the next photo as well. I seem a few years younger, I wonder why.
