Jeeeees – its a funny night, I’m agreeing with Bentwingbomber now.

If some of the planes flying around at the moment are looked after half as well as mr Hammonds fleet, we would have a forum full of dull and listless threads, saying nothing of interest to most of us.

As for the second Mustang, I’m sure it’ll be better than mine.

I’m not an expert, I’ve only been operating these things for 20 odd years, I’m still learning and will be until they nail the lid on my box.

I have watched this project from the very start and can assure you that it started as far more than a dataplate.
It makes me very cross that when people invest a huge amount of time and effort, not to mention money in restoring a warbird that people have to use phrases such as “questionable identity”

They have nothing better to do. Give Mr H my regards, and I’ll see him soon.

How long did it fly for?

I seem to remember reading that it was only a very short while.

The next time I see Dizzy Addicot I’ll ask him, he flew it.
