A very decent way of judging the impartiality of a media outlet, specialy a State sponsored one is the ability/frequency of articles in wich the Government or policies of said State are put in question in that media outlet. BBC does it, RT doesnt.

Google “BBC lambasting UK government” and then google “RT lambasting Russia government” (or something similar), then look at what happens.
