Perhaps this Turkish stronk! clown knows what he is talking about afterall… Now I am saying on this bombing event or any similar events likely to come: There are 3 options on the table:
.
That L-39 bombing that you admitted was done November 24 2016 and both Syria/Russia deny it. Is Syria pilot goes only rogue on November 24. and how do you know with certainity it is only L-39.
– I’ve said in those discussions, if THAT were to happen Russia wouldn’t and couldn’t respond militarily, could cut the gas flow at worst but that would harm Russia equally, economic sanctions were the only thing Russia realistically could do. I remember long talks about cruise missiles, number of SAMs and their capabilities, F-16 vs Su-30 comparsions or other kind of Russia strong vs Turkey strong…. Now we all see how it all turned out.
do you know once Damascus/Aleppo sieges are done. It will free upto 60K forces for Assad. Do you know what will they do next?. Now they have enough to money buyoff Kurdish loyalties in both Irak and Syria. Rebels have been bombed so hard that Turkey has practically no allies left on the ground. As i said several times. the survival of Turkish state completely depends on accepting 100% Russia hegemony.
You yourself have just proven you are spitting nonsense. L-39 don’t have a radar or RWR. A L-39 pilot cannot know an F-16 is in area, or detect its radar lock to run away….. I won’t bother replying rest of your nonsense. Good day..
Those were other radars and figters that are chasing away F16. You still not getting it why only L39 is mentioned.
Really? Did not prevent them from destroyin a Hezbollah convoy near Damas few days ago.
were the convoy really destroyed? and F16 didnot enter Syrian airspace. What Andraxx is claiming that Turkish F16 can freely loiter in Syrian airspace and lob bombs at will at higher frequency. Ruaf/Syaf droping in one day the amount of bombs that TAF can’t drop in a year. That has very important implication for turkey standing rest of Arab world.
Had that Syrian L-39 was expected to attack, it would be shot down right after its take off from Rasin al Aboud, had such threat from Syrian Armed forces was considered to exist, that aircraft would probably be shelled at its hangar.
Syria has very credible airdefence and airforce. When they start using it even Israeli F-16 cant enter it and one of F-16 was declared crash.
Nope, it was a single attack run made by a single aircraft. People like to exaggarate. I’ve heard scenarios up to 2 aircraft making numerous attacks for hours. Funnily some pro-PYD sources even mistook Turkish bombings at Al-Bab on 25th with Assad bombings…
there were atleast two or more runs and F-16s were locked and they ran away.
I don’t understand why one may think this is a humiliation for Turkey? It was actually something very bad for SyAAF, or SAA in general. That their pilots can go mad or bought via $$ to do something that had the potential to start a war, cost Assad his regime, or at very least could have made things very difficult for Syria, Turkey, Russia (plus Iran, Iraq etc) altogether…
War costing Assad his regime?. now that’s a lot of over confidence that has no basis. you simply have no idea about wars fighting with advance technologies.

Offensive on ISIS is relatively “stalled” for a month because of a) the lack of man power on FSA part, b) due to PYD advances and clashes with them to the east, and c) reluctance of Turkish Army to provide infantry for lands that is not and will never be theirs. I am sure you will be writing some alternate versions involving some “Russia strong!”, but these are the facts. Nevertheless, there is no rush, Turkish backed FSA guys are at the doors of al-bab with primary ISIS defense line of tranches and earth fortifications fell just today.. FSA is likely to take it in two weeks at worst, and ISIS part of Turkish-backed operation will (mostly) be concluded..
Offensive stalled because Turkey cant use its airforce liberally. without airforce this offensive has no chance to succeed.
Third arrier maybe common industrial collaboration with next french carrier btw. (citing DGA CEO). Atm i think for obscure reasons the “blocks” (parts that stop the plane from accelerating while it is pushing its engines for take off) of ex Gorshkov may not be compatible with Rafale absorbers (at least i read so on an indian forum).
Well if India keep buying French weopons it will have very negative impact on India fighting ability.
I wont bother with other moronic comment of yours, but this ones deserves an explaination at the very least;
It was claimed by Turkish and confirmed by Russian Commander in charge (I forget whoever that is) it was a Syrian L-39 from Rasin Al Abaud airbase.
An attack was not expected hence it wasn’t shot down, and 2 F-16 dispatched couldn’t catch it before it returned to its base… Initial response was asking Russians if they are involved, and Russians -after 20 minutes IIRC- said neither they or Syrians did it.
On 25th, SyAAF didn’t fly north of Hama, and there was no airstike on idlib or Aleppo in the fear of Turkish retailation. This was the day Turkish F-16s flew CAP missions inside Syria for the first time. This is the first time F-16s had their transponders on too:
how much is that place from the border and what is range of so called AIM-120C7. this fact that Turkish rapid response (not fast internet) cant deal with L-39 let alone some thing faster. the strikes happened atleast two times. Turkey hasn’t been able to strike Syrian forces after that. the offensive is practically stalled.
Agreed on this. Emphatize, had you spend your days alone in a 1000 room palace, you would be starting to lose your mind too 😉
nope. when your whole economic systems is bankrupt top to bottom and need external inflows than these kind of statements are needed almost daily. infact Russia is telling Arabs and Iranians that if Turkey did not create this mess in Syria/Iraq they would have liberated Jerusalem for that kind of money that they wasted on Turkey. this further discredited Turkish narrative.
Why not just get MiG-29 to keep things simple? If not, would Rafale M be a possible candidate?
this is for India third carrier. the third carrier wont be operational for next 15 years. they will be looking for new fighters in next 5 years possible design carrier around that fighter. its competition between T-50 and F-35.
the point isn’t about it. Its about Andraxx long paragraphs when he does not know his airforce capability. he also claimed TAF will freely fly around Syria. which simply isn’t the case. Russia will only fully cooperate with Turkey about there issues when Turkey is fully out from Nato and fully back Russian hegemony just like Turks went to Korea in 1951.
An awfully expensive way to deliver a squadron of jets.
how exactly its expensive way?. it carried alot of manpower, spares, ammunition, food, medical supplies. the jets did have training all the way on the voyage. the people are spending there winter in warmer Mediterranean than colder north.
now where is Andraxx claims that Turkey has AWACS and fighters that are in air all the time. they cant figure out who attacked them.

Neither Syria nor Russia attacked on Turkish soldiers: Lavrov
Turkey said it believed the attack was carried out by the Syrian army even though Damascus never claimed responsibility for the strike.Due to a translation mistake, Lavrov’s remarks were first translated as if he had accepted the Syrian regime’s role in air strikes, but the Russian Embassy and the Turkish Foreign Ministry corrected the statement
Perhaps I should wait until Trump takes office before posing the question but I’ll ask it now: will the US stance on free trade in North America have any bearing on a US aircraft being chosen by Canada?
it is not just the free trade but Canada policies towards refugees (aka Syria) and over dependence on Asia that will force Trump to punish Canada even more. it will start with bond yields. bottom line is Canada can import more immigrants since its population is less with lower currency and wages.
Canada is now desperate to sell energy to Asia.

Unfortunately djcross, its not that fool Justin who will part with HIS money, it is the Canadian taxpayers ( of which I am one ) who will part with OUR money for having voted for that fool.
The Liberals joined the program initially, then while in opposition argued against it as a ‘sole source’ program with ‘unknown costs’, and now, having regained power, they act with typical Liberal entitlement ( they know what’s best for us ) and give us a sole source acquisition for which they don’t know costs yet.
Is that the new definition of a competitive and transparent acquisition ?Bring-it-on and others are bang-on their analysis, this is all ( dirty ) politics.
And Haavarla can quote the Toronto ( Liberals can do no wrong ) Star all he wants, the Liberals are not doing whats good for the country or our armed forces.
This is about saving face and getting re-elected.Remember the helicopter competition won by the EH-101 ?
The previous Liberal government of Jean ‘Cretin’, paid 3/4 of a billion dollars for exactly ZERO helicopters, just so he wouldn’t look bad.
Sometimes you see the justification for electing a ‘wrench in the works’ candidate like Donald Trump !
it is just show for Trump (he is not favorably disposed to F-35 at this point)that Canada as is buying some thing. Trump can sink Canada and Mexico economics.
both has low education standards that cant develop anything.

OP was speaking in generalizations, the F-15 is one of the best in transonic acceleration. I would suspect the Typhoon, Su-35, F-22 have superior transonic acceleration similarly equipped.
I doubt that the Mig-31 is in the same league, different design drivers.
MIG31 weopon launch parameters are one Mach above the Flanker. I am sure with lighter avionics and higher thrust engines MIG31 will maintain that gap.
If power really transfer you won’t be seeing Bernie sender and that huge following of various web sites that question the integrity of the system. I can rely on Rogozin statements on various advanced weopon systems development.
