nice 1 selsport – i think exceptions came be made for non-aviation topics such as this! 😀
b*llocks to that! if BA buy bmi they have no competitin domestically, and more than likely will further pull out of regional airports such as Teeside, Leeds, Jersey, Norwich etc
great pics – same for the AN-22!
yea great shame. I think the Yak-42 does have a better record than most of the russian types – to b fair i dont think i’d have a problem on one of them with a reputable airline where they’re more likely to b well maintained
A330 – E-mail BAA about how easy access is to airside…
G-OEXC, became G-DACR with Airtours, then transferred to Denmark.
G-KMAM, became G-JANM with Airtours, then transferred to Denmark.
G-HAGT, became G-HBAP with Airtours, then transferred to Denmark.
G-SCSR, became G-JDFW with Airtours, still with MyTravel.
Doubt very severly that these will have been scrapped – most wil prob have been less than 5 years old at it’s demise. Expect with the constant interchages between the MYT fleet it’l have been transferred for that reason – poss around the same time as we got the DC-10s?
shout become a more common sight around the UK after Flybe’s latest orders!
Usually Atlanta have to source a certain amount of cabin crew from the base country of the a/c – so a certain %age of the crews would have been spaniards – can check this out for you if you want…
she’l have to get used to it – she’s bak off tomoz, with me tho! – HA-HA!
yea certainly should be an experinace- i’ve done an enthusiasts jolly from Leeds-Leeds before in a B752 – was great!
some really excellent pics there – well done!!
