Hi mate – i work at Liverpool and was on shift yesterday – heres a few bits…

The AN-12 is actually LZ-VEB not D which came in Friday evening and was still there when i left at 7p,m this eve with no flight plan in the system for a departure.

As well as EI and JD we (Emerald) also had G-ORCP, BGMO and BIUV on the ground which couldn’t be logged from the terminal (BIUV was next to SOEI on the far side) with its tail to you so you wont have seen the Reg).

Shame you didn’t see G-OGVA as it was the first time i had seen it at LPL fro EZY yesterday, and also in the early hours of the morning our AN-26 YL-RAE departed back to Latvia 🙁 – Never mind!

No I’m pritty certain that Prmie had nothing to do with Transair other than their single passenger aircraft may have previously being operated by Transaer, and they were inm fact the passenger arm of the former Heavylift who operated mainly A300s, C-130s and Shorts Belfast aircraft.

Ok the -200 had to return to LGW, So therefore they should be retired – damn BA Has better get rid of those 777s as there were 2 that had make diversions from other operators in the same day last month! Don’t talk stupid!

I had the pleasure of spending a few days hopping around Europe on a B747-146B about 18 months ago – the a/c may have looked shabby from the outside as it wasn’t far away from retirement, but it did the job!

SOFTLAD i had heard the rumours about LBA being shut as a MYT base, but with roughly the same number of services being operated from other bases on ‘W’ patterns – keep us updated!

They initially went into storage at NWI i believe, with a couple going to Asian operators, and one was operated by BA for a short time i believe. The remaining 2 went back to ATR at Toulouse i believe.

No but the flight diverted into LBA. Probably something to do with flight time limitations on the exrta sector, or Air Wales could perhaps of fond it cheaper to run a coach up to NCL and got a deal on bringing the passengers for the next flight down to LBA if the weather still isn’t holding up north. ETD was 2115 – still aint gone yet!

Yea i see what you mean! Its a shame tha these -200s will be becoming rarer and rarer now! They are usually the highlight of a bland day – noisy and dirty – the exact reasons they are going!
