Somebody else who couldn’t be bothered to read it before filling it in. I understood it was to be filled in on the 27th of this month so as to give the Government a representative snapshot of the Country on that particular day.

    Regards,

    kev35

Probably a flaw in the system as I know a few people who have already filled in and submitted theirs on line.

What did make me laugh is the question about the standard of spoken english, little Inky isn’t yet 3 but for her age she has good english, come to think of it I’ve heard worse from adults!

What is the deal with it, as I understood it, 1 Sqn bought it back themselves and when the RAF tried to requisition it a few years ago the receipt was shown to prove squadron ownership, iirc there was then some muttering about hangar fees and it was settled that it was the property of 1 Sqn while it exisited.

Will it be returned to the squadron once they reform or is it now in the RAF pool to dispose of how they wish?

Whilst I agree with the unfairness of those who are careless enough to become pregnant (regardless of who is responsible for the contraception) the one factor that has to be taken into account is the welfare of the child involved, they do grow up seeing how easy it is to get something for nothing and 16 years later the cycle will repeat itself.

Withdrawing benefits and taking away housing will have a very negative effect on the young child also, sadly I don’t know what the solution is.

More interesting is the Mother’s claims her son is traumatised by it and that she was crying for days and days after wards.

On first reading it I thought it was the kid that was crying for ages, that’s what they do at that age…however the mother? Grow up and lighten up.

And if she didn’t know could someone point out that kids go through a clingy stage and cry for their mum regardless of whether they’ve been put in a locker or not.

Next time maybe she should try Ryan Air, they charge for putting kids in lockers!

I had enough when we found out my wife is facing redundancy from the NHS, my teaching hours are cut due to changes in higher education, sure start centres for my daughter are closing, my cousin was due to enter the RAF to be a pilot…and that’s just for starters this week it seems to be getting worse.

The introduction of KERS (kinetic energy recovery system) was an attempt to do something which would then benefit us mortals. And the research into crash and crumple zones which has been hugely beneficial in terms of no F1 fatalities since the weekend of Senna and Ratzenberger

The real problem with F1 is that if any one team or driver dominates for a couple of seasons Bernie and his cohorts try to adjust the rules to create a more level playing field and add more perceived interest for the average armchair fan.

Thing then shift and those rules that were brought in to level the playing field now give what could be an unfair advantage to one team or other.

One advantage is that a lot of the advances that F1 invest a lot of money in developing do filter down to the road cars.

There are some good moments in most races, just need to filter out the dull parade that is 98% of a race

I am sorry if my post was a bit too light hearted and flippant and the humour was a little misdirected, I genuinely did not know the seriousness of your condition and do hope that you make a swift and speedy recovery.
