On a more serious note, what really would be gained by having a Swiss pilot in the cockpit that could not be also gained by a combination of sending a Swiss pilot through the course and observing an LM/DoD/JPO pilot with a DART pod attached?
The coursework & simulator time will make them aware of the pilot workload & how it responds to pilot inputs and the DART will confirm physical & kinematic attributes. BDA is self evident. Also, would anyone turn away the F-22 given the same restrictions?

All the changes to the J-20/31 could have easily come from visual analysis of the F-35/22. The true secret-sauce cannot be seen (ie software, RAM, etc).

Kongsberg lands US$85M contract for JSM integration on F-35 fighter jet
Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS (KONGSBERG) has signed a contract worth NOK 700 million (US$ 85.4 million) with the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency for JSM test missiles for the integration phase on the F-35, the Norwegian defense contractor stated on June 29, 2018.

Not sure on either. The first few Turkish F-35s will stay here until they have their own training program setup in Turkey. Just as in past fighter programs, some nations maintain US-based training units permanently.
No details available as to how long Russian techs were to be in Turkey.
Here is where I heard about it.
Turkey has already taken a step. Russia proposed to deliver the S-400 systems in nine months by deploying Russian military technicians on the ground in Turkey. However, Ankara refused and asked Moscow to train Turkish military experts to assemble and run the system on their own without Russians setting foot on Turkish soil – or to put it differently, in NATO territory. This will take about 19 months.

IIRC Russian “Technicians” were going to come to Turkey to train & maintain the system. There was a recent blurb about just sending the Turkish tech to Russia so Russian techs would never have to enter Turkey.
