Actually this one (XV109) was never in BA service, it was built as a CMk.1 for the RAF. Only two ex-BA VC10s are still flying, ZD241 and ZD242, both K4 versions.

ive flown with them both mate and for me there were just as good as each other.

I think once Virgin, Singapore and Qantas start operating the beast into Heathrow, they’ll probably take a much closer look at it

hasn’t it been said all along that BA were going to monitor the a380 when it gets into service and see how it does then decide weather to get them or not.
