oh right thanks Tom
it might off been an AN-124 As I saw one today at 15:45
James
Thats a point NEMA does take a fair few AN-124’s
That has two engines mate.
James
indeed it does mate i do apologise.
hi all
was out enjoying the beautiful weather today, and looked up at a large 4 engined aircraft overlfying Loughborough, which is a few miles from NEMA. im not very good at guessing altitudes, but i think it was no more than 20000 ft.
it was unlike any other aircraft i have ever seen – the engines were enormous, the fuselage was thick, fairly stumpy, and was all white, except for the rear fuselage which was blue.
i was with a couple of like minded aviation friends, and we all think it was the A380.
it was around 4:30 and heading roughly in the NEMA direction.
anyone listening to the airwaves or know if the aircraft was in the area today?
have i seen the A380?
any help would be great
thanks
it could be a beluga those aircraft airbus use to transport wings around in.
When it took off it went north. Air Contractors flight due in again in the small hours of tommorow from Bristol.
cheers for that mate wonder what it may be then?
according to Flyte.com it was operating on behalf of air contractors arrived from nottingham why i dont know…i know that it has been stripped of its titles so maybe its on its way someplace else…
jason
