I saw a programme on Disco Wings on airliner Scrapping where the maintenance costs of the L1011s is getting so high that buying a new Boeing/Airbus is more viable, and the spares that they recover when they scrap them are almost worthless now….a real shame, I remember the old Courtline ones when I Lived in Luton in the early ’70s….

I would have thought that a special forces bird would fly straight back home so people do see its secret toys.

OH MY GOD!!! What a beast of an aircraft i would have felt a bit nervous when she came past the AVP!! Was she there for an engine pick up?
