    It’s a scheduled flight.

Anyone who has paid the “normal” car exit fees recently will confirm that the current management of the Viewing Park do not appear to be short of cheek where admission charges are concerned.

Civvie one?? ..who what where is a Civilian Globemaster ??

The “other” Qatar Emiri Air Force C-17 currently wears the full Qatar Airways livery.

And very nice it looks, too. 🙂

£12 a throw to take a car into the Viewing Park on a Wednesday morning?

I wish I could say that I’m surprised.

@ GA. The point I was making is that we live in an overcrowded world fast using up its resources. Several millions more breeding pairs would not have helped the situation any.

Or are you pointing out that the flu would have claimed more lives if there had been more available victims?

    That’s more or less it.

Bear in mind that, for some reason still unknown, the mortality rate was highest among young adults.

The Spanish Flu Pandemic had far more of an impact on the world’s population than World War One did, Rob.

The political and diplomatic tensions that existed between the European Powers at the start of the 20th century made armed conflict among them truly only a matter of time.

The web of formal alliances that bound them one to another also dictated that any such conflict would rapidly and inevitably grow to encompass the entire continent – and beyond.

The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand was only the spark that lit the kindling.

The resulting bonfire had been well-stacked for decades.

    Gentlemen,

    I have had a bit of a clear-out.

Please discuss the aeroplanes, and not one another’s faults and imperfections.

The aeroplanes are far more interesting, after all! 🙂

    Thanks

It might have had something to do with the thunderstorms in the vicinity of MAN at around that time.

Maybe a short test flight that was involuntarily extended. 🙂
