    Which just goes to prove the truly global nature of the aerospace industry, and highlights the folly of much of the US vs Europe nonsense that seems so fashionable at the moment. 🙂

    I understand that the take-off weight was 421T, 4 engines good.

    No lightweight……..and on de-rated engines, too. 😀

    The Term is “Bible Thumping” – I believe Bible Bashing is used in Australia?

    “Bible Bashing” is in common use in the civilised (ie, N of Watford 🙂 ) parts of the UK, too.

    Seems to me that some Western governments find OBL far too useful as a bogeyman-at-large to ever seriously track him down.

    I’ll bet it was taken with a big lens – 400-500mm.

    The “foreshortening” effect of large lenses would make the helicopter appear to be much closer to the tail of the A380 than it actually was.
