Hmmmmm – c/n 21092, ex A-7002 of the Indonesian AF (whose scheme this is) and PK-GAU of Garuda.

Belongs to Omega Air now and is, therefore, probably “up to no good”. 😉

Really nice pic, by the way. 😀

Emirates seem to be doing OK with their current procurement policy, Sandy. 😉

If they’re going to use them in lieu of Air Transat, then the flights will be to Canada rather than to the “sunshine” destinations.

Bad news for Air Transat, though. 🙁

    Well that’s the point, Pablo.

Most of the population centres of North Wales are already in easy reach of LPL and MAN via the M55/M56.

I think this smacks of politicians “being seen to be doing something” to justify their own existence, to be honest.

Sorry, chaps, but I can’t see that this is great news for anyone other than the firms that win the contracts.

How about Chester? The airfield is in Wales, after all. 😉

But RAF Valley is at the back of beyond!!!

I can’t see it being of much use, except perhaps to people travelling to Holyhead to catch a ferry…… 😉

It’d make a bit of a mess of the engine intakes too, I should think.

Anyone fancy a job cleaning aircraft? 😉
