What was the reg on The China cargo 742 ?

It was B747-409F B-18701. (The 400F has a “short” hump like the “Classic.)

You know, I’d be tempted to put Birmingham in number one spot.

Also, I’m afraid that Heathrow and Gatwick currently belong at 11 and 12 in any lits of the top 10 spotting airports due to their complete lack of facilities of any kind combined with the closure of two of the best such facilities in the country at those airports.

Mmm, the EMB 170 would fit in good with bmi regional v well, as it has the same flightdeck as the ERJ family.

Are you sure? On his excellent thread on the Emb 170, Whiskey Delta says the two types have distinct type ratings.

You’d love the view from my living room window then, Matt.

I can read landing aircraft on 24R off with a pair of 10X binoculars, but I need my scope for some 06L takeoffs.

I’ve put a few frames away this evening as it happens………… 😀
