That’s an opinion rather than a fact.

    Moggy

That maybe true but if time is limited it would certainly not now appear on my list. When compared with almost any other major museum it is, shall we say, not very good, this has been discussed in some depth in another thread. For someone visiting this country and wants to see the best then the other recommendations here are far better.

Another to avoid is IWM North.

You are to cynical for your own good

Very true but only because this has been my life experience.:D

Well they have been extensively “maintaining” the old Bridge for what seems like years now so hopefully that money has been well spent.

But will that be long enough? 😀

Have to say I’m starting to think along these lines these days.

South bound crossing yesterday appears road is now in final lay without the kink, (cant spell chicane) drove straight though about 7pm.
Booths now gone on north bound side and possibly roads in place as could see two streams of traffic running towards tunnels. No queues at. Came from M11 and there seemed to be much fewer lorries or was that just my imagination?

They are building a new TOLL bridge alongside The Bridge at Widnes. The Bridge is then going to be closed for repair. Being the cynic I am I can see which way that is going!

I think this should be in historic as well. Please consider moving.

For us it’s Beachy Head for Saturday. There is PAD parking was £4 for day. Public toilet block small but there is a pub. Take your chairs and admire the views there is also a memorial worth seeing. Sunday we are on the roof of Ocean Suite on the pier with the hope of getting a different angle. Let’s hope the weather is good. We will be early birds as Charlie says goes with airshows in general in my view.

BBC Radio 4 news tonight is saying that disused airfield is to be used for the Stack, so presumably Manston.

Where would we have been without the likes of this great man who travelled round the world in our time of need.

A true hero, blue skies now you are with all your comrades.
    An era has past.
Thank you for what you did.
    Paul and Lin
