RE: Both Flypast and AFM gone down now?

Guys there has to be a big problem with this doesnt there. I mean how often does this happen. Not as much as some of the others. But I to am getting rather annoyed especially when I cant post about something I wont even remember tommorrow.

Hi people

Edinburgh always has a big fireworks display to mark the end of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and Festival.

I have been to it a few years running now. I also know we have fireworks at New Year but no big November 5th fireworks only domestic fireworks and smaller organised display. Which I think are really the best way to do things as all you have to do is watch and let someone else do the work. Although I always buy some and set them off at my Dads house which is in the country and has a big field in front of it so its really safe.

I take your point in post number 20 but I dont think families should suffer either I never said or meant that. I just mean for crimes less vile that dont carry the death sentance that we should perhaps publically shame them as this has seemed to work before. Well perhaps we do this already. Doesnt the media reports in the papers already publically shame people And look at a couple of so called stars recently in the papers in the UK. There are people who think they will never work in showbiz again.

Also in your post 22 I think you may have a few good ideas there.

years ago in Britain if you were caught stealing you would have been put in the stock and had rotten food and stones throwen at you. If you had done something less shameful then you would be chained up outside your local church so everyone could come and look at you and talk about you. If you were a herbalist or something of that nature then they called you a witch and then proceeded to torture you, Hang , Burn or drown you. If they tried to drown you and you survived somehow they would burn you as a witch anyway. Apart from what they did to people for being a so called witch I think the other ways of publically shaming people is quite a good idea. And I was never talking about what is in your constitution just expressing my views.

Wombat I agree that they should be hanged or some other form of execution fitting to the suffering that they caused their victims and their families. But I do respect Geforces thoughts and feelings on this he obviously feels very strongly about this. As you will know here in Britain we dont have a Death sentance any more. I think they should reinstate this but only in the case of very very strong proof this means that physical evidence would have to be used along with any other evidence to get a conviction. But a persons confession could not be used incase he was forced to sign it.

Geforce I respect you wishes about this subject but be aware that others have thoughts and feelings on this subject too that may be just as strong as yours. Also just because Wombat wants to see them publicaly hanged I dont think this makes him sick just a strong believer in corporal punishment. I also think some kind of public humiliation should be used before they are executed but the actual act of execution should be private with the witnesses and families if they wish to attend.

I personally would take them both to the desert and have sniper shoot bits of their bodies off. Before finally killing them and then leave them there for the buzzards and vultures to eat.Coming back a few days later for the bones. But hey thats just me.
