No but watching enthusiastically. It seems to have lost the allure it once had for TV viewers and radio listeners. I still think it’s the greatest rowing race in the world.

Don’t forget that the Gospels were written well after the events and it is unproven by whom they were written. So that everything pertaining to the story of Christ is probably a mixture of hearsay and myth. Good stories though, if you like that sort of thing. There was certainly no love lost between Romans and Jews so it was a hotbed for stories.

The relationship between belief and intelligence is an enigma. I too feel as you have expressed it in your last paragraph. And one thing is very clear; that those who do believe are very unlikely to be shaken from their belief and those who do not are very unlikely to have a conversion.

It is a truism to state that the unbeliever will never be disappointed by death. If there is nothing more than that is that. If there is something more it will be a bonus. For the believer an afterlife will be expected, but if there is nothing it will be a bitter blow – or at least it would be if they knew!!

Being a transplant recipient myself.. it does anger me that she abused such a precious gift..God knows how the donors loved one’s would feel if they knew..having said that.. we have to remember this was an obviously young and very immature person who sadly leaves behind two young children and a very close loving family..nobody deserves to die

That is a generous comment from one who, more than most of us here, has a right to feel anger. Your magnanimity and generosity of spirit should shame some of those who have commented on this thread.
