I concur with everything you say here. A few years ago I worked closely with a Swede and an Englishman from the Midlands. It was embarrassing to hear the greater command of English from the Swede and worse to read the corrections he made on the Englishman’s written reports.
And I would venture to suggest that the problem is worse now than it was then. Who was it once said “Education, education, education….”?
Don’t sue anyone. That’s the problem. We no longer accept responsibility for our actions. The culture is if something is wrong with my life, then I’ll sue someone, because it must be their fault and nothing to do with me.

As a straight answer to a straight question – yes, please. My last flight in a Shack was as a CCF cadet in the late fifties – a 6 or 8 hour sortie from Kinloss, if memory serves.
Don’t know where you live in the Netherlands, but from Utrecht it is at max. a 4 hour drive. It is a little further than Calais.
So it is possible to do it on a one day trip.
I would strongly recommend staying locally and arriving early on show day, unless you like a very early start, because, as someone else pointed out, access is on country roads and parking is somewhere in the vicinity from which shuttle buses will ferry visitors to and fro.
As a landlubber you took good care down the Gut in the 60s, if the Navy were in town!
Are the conductors on the buses still about 14 years old?
Did you have to spoil my day…………?:(
So when would those original T33 airframes have been manufactured? When did Bolivia acquire them?
