Sounds like a good idea.;):)
Ah, so we are talking about factual inaccuracies, of which you have mentioned a couple. Is that your bone of contention? That it was not a factually correct account of the Squadron and that the book is better?
Is there anything between the “free” TV programme and a £25 book, which might do justice to the Squadron’s story? As someone with no prior knowledge I would have no idea that I was being told porkies – why would they do that?
:confused:This thread has lost me already.:(

Might I suggest that the following might give a rather better picture of 303 Squadron than the Ch 4 effort:

Not having much knowledge of it and having enjoyed the programme I am intrigued by your phrase “…might give a rather better picture of 303 Squadron….”
Please elaborate, for my benefit.:)
Wonderful pictures and those long shots of the BoB sequence could have taken 70 years ago! Republish them in monochrome…….
Was that you, Baz. If I’d known I would have offered you a fellow-forumite hello. Everyone looked cooked, especially those in the period uniforms. It was my favorite ground display – loads of period vehicles and kit – marvellous. Well done to all!:):)
Terrific group of pictures. MissDemeanour is my favorite, I think….I just love that aircraft!:D
Belgian.
What do you think, Baz?;);)

Arguably the greatest movie ever made
“Arguably” – I would agree with. Certainly in my top 20, though.:)

Nope, that might have been Kabir’s – his didn’t work, mine did, so it’s ready for another session.:diablo:
