Not a problem, the only reason I ask is, as I said to a forum member yesterday, teh Vampire is wooden so if it is not under cover it will delaminate. I will have an ask around and keep you posted.

Just thought I would add my thanks to all for an enjoyable day. It was a while since I have had time to walk around the museum and see everything. Thanks for the organising of the raffle, I know alot of work went into it, hope the trip back to Jersey was not to bad. Snapper… I can’t believe you got back at such a speed I am impressed!!

    Spitfire beer advertising campaign!

Much as I know you love the Spitfire I have to disagree, it is not THE greatest. It is a pretty plane, but give me a Hurricane anyday. Anyway it is Friday afternoon so don’t get me into deep discussion 🙂

It is or was on the pan in front of the Superhangar, you won’t miss it. See you there 10.30 or thereabouts then.

I shall be there with my young lady (don’t mention Catalinas in Mallorca) just let me know when and where.

I shall meet wherever you all decide, the Vulcan is in quite a prominant postion at the moment.

Malteaser oh yes please, are they the white ones?

We were down on Tuesday in the C150… first time we have flown in and a very nice welcome we were given as well.

Was great to see the Cat running and the Yak’s zipping around.

No the front doesnt open, it takes more technically know how to get that front out then to get a TSR2 back in the air!

Now that money spent on a replacement Belfast and a few T2’s would have been much better spent and cheaper I would have thought as well.

Totally agree. AND you can’t even get them out or others in without pulling the whole front off. Rubbish is the right word.
