Have you got the technical report you can post, showing the problems with leaving it verses putting it under cover? Has it got a long term under cover homoe at teh airport?

Indeed they all need comercial backing and peoples attitudes can affect this. I heard rumour that Duxford were asked if they wanted a Virgin aircraft, but they wouldn’t take it because if the British Airways backing, with aircraft and I guess the new hangar money. Things like this are not condusive to what the museum is set up for.

I am biased though I don’t like BA since the Concord incident

It’s reported that the Corsair has been sold in NZ and the La9 is up for sale, which backs up what I was told a few months ago. I am glad our Southern Hemisphere friends are seeing more aircraft coming to their shores. I hope they enjoy them as much as we have. There is plenty more arriving here this year. Anyway I hope they keep going to NZ I am emigrating there soon 🙂

Watching Piece of Cake last night and then reading this today has just made me smile. I just realised quite how much our very own Moggy C really does sound like Moggy from the programme… i can imagine him saying the above comments now! 🙂
