Superb shots Robert, although it’s quite sad to see those poor planes in such a state, especially the last 737…

It was nice to see all the 1-11’s , thsy used to visit Edinburgh when BA owned them, imagine most of them are now washing machine chassis’s 🙁

Very nice Robert.What size lens you using for the Austrian Challenger?? I assume you are at Lennymuir for the shot.
Hoping to head to EDI tomorrow,for a wee jolly. (Wee heads up for you, due EDI tomorrow is P4-SIS Legacy,Leaving INV at 1100)

Using my trusty old 70-300mm Canon EF as always!!

workin up north so probably wont make Edinburgh at all on Friday!

Very nice. I wonder who the previous operator of the Arkefly A321 was!

What kind of lens did you use on that rather superb Martinair MD-11 shot just out of interest?

Took that photo with my compact camera, Minolta Z2, it has a nice wide angle and also fits in my coat pocket, very handy just to carry about “just-in-case”.

Yeah spot on, was passing through Turnhouse cos the Kirkliston road is shut, stopped off for 5 mins then drove home!!

Was getting awfy dark when I photographed the DHL, ISO 800 and 1/15th handheld, good night down turnhouse though, Hellas Jet being the highlight.

p.s Why was they a A320 of BA on the disused rwy at the end with a couple of biz jets.

Photoshop is also a big help for getting half decent photos in Scotland !!
