My little tablet computer ,at last I can make it play videos !

As I’m posting, there are 658 posts on both the smile/swear threads, which means that like today,we must all have a mixture of sunshine and showers 🙂

Sometimes I wonder how much more I could achieve if I hadn’t become a silver surfer

Looks to me like she’s doing the washing-up,helping the kids with their homework, working out the shopping list, dreaming that she married Brad Pitt and telling her husband which drawer his socks are kept in and to remember to phone his mother :p

The photo I would have loved to take was at the far right of the fourth picture, where the toddlers from the Town Hall nursery were lined up on the pavement waving Union Flags.
Not supposed to photograph children these days without parents’ permission, let alone display on t’internet.

The feature in today’s paper of a Russian scientist diving with Beluga whales near the Arctic Circle.
Nothing funny about that, but it’s a female scientist and she’s naked.
One of the photos shows her as she prepares to dive, with a group of male scientists, well muffled-up in freezing temperatures.
It’s thought that it’s easier to interact with the whales ” without the barrier of clothes “.
I may be a cynical old dear, but I swear one of the scientists is saying to another , ” I can’t believe she actually fell for it ! ” :diablo:

What a marvellous photo. Is that an all singing dancing posh digital camera with macro lens…or your phone?:):)

Nothing posh, just a simple digital camera which I keep on the Automatic setting – it does have a range of settings but a snail would have enough time to leg it by the time I’d worked out which one to use.
