    I’m somewhat surprised that you should think actually waking up in your own bed something to celebrate …. really,young people today !Download’s great but she’s sunburnt to a crisp and that makes me smile because I told her to take the sunscreen .

    No,they’re playing later.And blow me,today just got even better – Mr. Bee just booked flights for another holiday in New Zealand in November !!

    In church this morning,the phone that rang with the Nokia tone just after the minister said,”We call upon you,o Lord”.And the fact that we’re such oiks that everyone laughed.And my daughter ringing me from Download to say Slipknot were awesome and me thinking she’d seen a new band called Flip-flop.Def Leppard tonight !

    I’m afraid I didn’t phrase the question clearly,no doubt due to my marshmallow of a female brain – I meant torture as a means of extracting information.As it is I seem to have looked under a stone I should have left undisturbed.However,I’m pleased that ( so far ) the thread has been left to run,whatever the views being expressed are .

    Obviously taking a child’s life is the worst crime there could be,but as a truly ancient git of 61 I think all life is valuable.I think that there are some people who really are evil and a waste of space,but I’d like to make just one more point.Person A tortures and kills person ( or animal ) B.Being civilised people,we recognise that this is morally wrong.So how can it be morally right for the state,society or whatever you call it to do the same thing to person A ?That just perpetuates a state of violence.And I’m not a pacifist or saying some criminals can’t help it because they’ve had a hard life or whatever .
