Thanks for all the comments guys – he says he ” almost ” signed up to O2 yesterday and almost signing up is pretty decisive by Mr. Bee’s standards !!!
Brilliant,we’ve got loads we can send and I’d rather stick pins in my eyes than read Mills & Boon .

What annoyed me more than anything was the Archbishop of Canterbury’s preaching last week that it was time to end the ” humiliation ” of MPs – after all, they brought it on themselves. If the head of the church can’t see that this is a MORAL issue and most people are furious because they wouldn’t dream of making unfair claims themselves,we really are in a bad way .

Do you Lads eat too much curry???
Of course they are,it’s our national dish, though that’s not Mr. Bee’s excuse. It must be a male thing, because as you know, women, especially HM the Queen,NEVER pass wind .

It’s not a question of ” winning ” and you’ve made your points very well, but in a forum like this I’d guess vegetarians would be in a very small majority. In the middle of A levels isn’t the best time to get involved in stressful arguments of any kind . Better to put it out of your mind and enjoy a nice sunny weekend, and I know that sounds terribly patronising but it’s not meant that way honest !!!Good luck with the rest of your exams.

Koalas may absolutely stink but it’s that mingled aroma of eucalyptus and pee that says Australia to me …. last time I had a koala attached to my ample bosom for photographic purposes the damn thing stuck its claws in me so hard I’d happily have clubbed it over the head. Can anyone explain the advantages of veganism then ( no animal products at all, eggs honey etc.) ? I know a vegan family and they look so unhealthy, kind of pale like plants grown with not enough light. Is anyone on here a comitted vegan ?

I’ve a lot of respect for your point of view, and I was actually totally vegetarian myself for five years in the early eighties. Then I got pregnant again, having already miscarried one baby, and the doctor thought I’d have a better chance of hanging on to it if I went back to eating meat.I lost that baby too,but carried on with the advice and baby no. 3 will be 21 in August.I think it’s acceptable to eat meat that’s raised and slaughtered humanely. The other point I’d make is that it’s very easy to judge other cultures from the point of view of our comfortable European standards, but there really is no excuse for being needlessly brutal .

I think it’s the way they’re killed that people object to,rather than the fact that they’re culled at all.In the 21st century it seems so unnecessary to kill any animal by beating it to death, but presumably it’s done that way to save the cost of bullets and leave the pelt intact ?I believe they may have to cull some koalas in Australia, they must be the cutest looking animals on earth so I hope that’s done in a more humane way .
