    I know,I had it rattling the windows when my daughter was at home.Dido’s just saaad,my hard-rocking amigo.But then you are a lot older than me.Those four months obviously make all the difference.

    The ageing thing fascinates me.Last year a little old lady joined my church – grey curly perm,sensible shoes.typical granny.If I played her the stuff I like at the volume I like she’d jump a mile in the air.Found out yesterday she’s only four months older than me.I’ll never get the hang of this living lark.

    You can get CD sets of comedy series like Round the Horne and The Navy Lark but I’ve never found any of TIFH.It’s a pity because I remember it as being very funny.Which is odd as I must have been a mere babe in arms when it was on.Well that’s my story anyway.

    He’s the genuine article all right -as in Ron Glum.And if you’re old enough to buy Beatles LPs you might remember Dick Bentley in Take it from here.The similarity is uncanny.
