My great-niece was born last night in Berkeley,California.I’m great-auntie BB !

In the garden today –

Not far from me in Sussex there’s the Frog and Nightgown.

Daughter and friend visited a very small Sussex pub recently. All heads turned to stare at them and silence fell,though she thought she could just faintly hear Duelling Banjos being played 😀

It does show why it is important to keep the seat belts tightened untill instructed by the crew it is safe to take them off!

Having seen this,I can actually appreciate that now.

I’ll admit that the minute the wheels touch down I’m usually unbuckling,finding my mobile and nagging my husband to take the complimentary bag of peanuts with him.

My husband came home yesterday complaining that he’d missed his one and only chance to take the wheel of a real bus.

He’d been to a bus event at Dunsfold aerodrome and the public were allowed to have a go at driving an old bus,but he couldn’t do it because the car’s being repaired and he didn’t have his driving licence with him.

The poor chap’s had to console himself with two minute toy buses and some expensive but extremely boring bus books.

Anyone ever driven a bus ?
Is it as much fun as he thinks he’s missed ?

Yes I do like the bee,maybe it’s a bumblebee looking for a nesting site.
