Two Cornish place names that have always intrigued me are London Apprentice and Indian Queens.
I’ve already mentioned Yorkey’s Knob,near Cairns,on here.
My personal favourite in Queensland is the small town called Wonglepong. Every time I hear the name I get a mental picture of a little cartoon dog like Hairy McLairy.

I think that you’ll get different answers depending on the age of the person.
When my husband and I got married in 1971 living together just wasn’t an option, mainly because if we’d considered it our mothers would have killed us with their bare hands.Actually the idea never occurred to us,because we grew up firmly believing that if you wanted to live together and have children, then you got married first.
Attitudes have changed radically in the last forty years. My daughter who’s 22 doesn’t see any real reason to get married at all,and isn’t worried about couples deferring their wedding until the children are old enough to be bridesmaids and pageboys.
Personally,I like the idea of making a legal commitment to each other, and if I ever found myself single again ( and I so nearly put in the happy position of being single again – Mr. Bee doesn’t read this :diablo: ),then I wouldn’t feel at all comfortable just living with someone.

My daughter had diclofenac for her fibromyalgia.
It knocked out the pain, but gave her internal bleeding.
Swings and roundabouts ….

My husband, who’s as fascinated by buses as I am by flying-boats,tells me that Wrightbus are building the new London bus, nicknamed the Borismaster.
He told me a lot more about it that I can’t remember, but here’s a picture of it for those weird people that might be interested –

Well, baby Bee kept her promise on a chilly wet Mother’s Day.
Here are a few of the photos I took, starting with the WAAF and Royal Auxiliary Air Force memorials,as her grandparents served in them.
A wonderful place to visit again and again.
