Hearing from a friend this morning that her daughter,only a couple of years older than mine,had unexpectedly collapsed and died.
My mother-in-law got up one morning and went out like a light,but at least she’d had a reasonably long life.Dying in your twenties is just so awful,I can’t think straight.
The older I get,the more I’m inclined to believe that my old Granny was right when she always referred to life as a vale of tears.
