I believe it achieved that in Singapore trial. It has two 90kN engines and its empty weight is 11 tonne, loaded weight is 15.5 tonne.
    You can do the calculation.

u said full weopon load? 90KN is afterburning thrust. Non-afterburning thrust is around 60KN. and how loaded weopon weight is 15.5 ton? 4.9 ton fuel alone makes it 15.9 tons.

As for the 25% weight reduction, that sounds pretty ridiculous. Care to explain how you can loose that much weight?

advance composite materials that were not present in previous flankers. Su-35 is compeltely new machine from structure to FBW to cockpit. it does not share anything with previous Flankers like MKI.

as you can see Russia is not behind the west, Russia is just restructuring its technological and economical capabilities but undoutedly Russia is not a developing country they have technology and resources

see, that is why you lie again. you use same thing over and over. I keep telling you FC-1 example is example that is in production and reach Pakistan soon.

FC-1 is prototype and IOC is going to reach in 2009. and still the customer is calling it Medium tech aircraft. and u are confusing 18 year old Su-35 cockpit with the new Su-35.
    [

Su-34, who use it? no one yet. Russia say many time they will buy, but it is not produce yet.

it is in production and One is better than 12 export Flankers.

Yak-42 is a failure in export. no one want it, only Cuba and ex Yugoslavia. and picture you use is sneaky. Yak-42 cockpit is like this.
    http://www.polet.ru/images/yak42-0.jpg

I think he confuse it with Yak-130.

the one you use is experiment with new things. Russia do many of that kind on many airplane, but it do not mean they will use. it dont even mean it work!

please do not use same example over again. I can use YF-23 from America, but it do not mean America will use it.

u will see some surprizes during the coming years.

you words do not have proofs. I show you proofs
    https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/rs.html#Econ
    you can see it say
“oil, natural gas, metals, and timber account for more than 80% of exports, leaving the country vulnerable to swings in world prices.”
that mean Russia rely on raw resource, not manufacturing stuff or finance like real economy.

this is not a proof. just look at there Kamaz trucks and compare ur brand. there stock market is now bigger than Hong Kong.
manufacturing is also vulnerable to recession in developed world on which export is depended.

su-35 has better TWR than the typhoon???? That would have to be some kind of a light load. I read that typhoon can supercruise at mach 1.4 with full weapn load.

with full weopon load? I doubt EF is even allowed to fly at that speed with afterburner. Su-35 is planned with 25% weight reduction and increase thrust engine. it will be like F-18E weight wth non-afterburning thrust equal to F414.

    http://www.ato.ru/eng/cis/archive/10-2005/defense/news1/?PHPSESSID=edd454556414ccd4d6e4151192a256c6
According NPO Saturn General Director Yuri Lastochkin, the new engine will enable the aircraft to reach the supersonic speed in cruise drythrust mode. NPO Saturn and UMPO plan to launch 117C component manufacturing in 2008-2010. In addition to its use on the Su-35, the powerplant also is expected to power Su-27IB bombers

You must kepp in mind that the question cannot be answered.
what are we talking about ?
    Naked planes ?
    Planes + basic infrastructure ?
    Planes + infrastructures + weapons ?
    Planes + infrastructures + weapons + an agreement of technical axchange/maintenance ??

why would some one chose the first 3 options as it is incomplete to effectively operate an aeroplane. (Planes+Pilot training+ weopons+ service center). and Rafale fly away cost is $65m from french order. so easily double it for system price.

A price of 110 to 140 millions for a modern plane (F-35, Rafale or Eurofighter ..) can be a reality.

so the new Su-35 is less modern than the above. alteast it has the best TWR and longest range to begin with.

the problem you and other people keep saying is that you use example from 20 year ago but not current things.

examples are all current not 20 years old.

of course in on time, China have to use many Russian airplane to catch up, but it do not stay like that all the time. If you look now, China do not order much Su-30 like 10 year ago, they do not order as many ship or submrine, etc because now they can do their own. J-10 is only temporary. You do not know, but there is new engine called WS-10 that replace Russian engine in J-10, also new engine will come out for FC-1. in only 5 years China can make a full Chinese version of Su-27 with improve engine (WS-10 is goign to be more efficint than Russian one).

I cant imagine that China can afford to operate more than 300~400 Flankers at this point considering the cost involved.
WS-10 has yet to be proven. wait alteast a year or so for things to clarify interms of operational service.

the logic you use is like this
american make first car assembly line, so they have to be best inc ars now.
    but htat is not true
America first to do it but Japan, China and Korea now make better cars
30-40 year ago, China use many Russian tank, but now they use almost only Chinese tank. The Navy no need sovremmy now, because 169-171 is better and stealth.

thats not the logic but illogic Japanese/Korean cars are proven by there Export reputation for long time to much advance markets. there is no such thing with Chinese avaiation. when they start exporting back to russia/america than we can say and not just assemble products based on foreign tech.

So the reasonable deterence capability was given with the R-40-MiG-25PD [Safir]combo in the late 70s, superseded by R-33-MiG-31 combo in the 80s and will jump again right now with the R-37-MiG-31BM from 2007

there is R-33S in the middle and current R-37M (610M) using enlarge R-77 seeker and can be used by other aircraft like Flanker.

With a good negociator and as a “export launcher” customer, between 15-20 (15 if there is a large amout of spare and munitions.

I dont think dassualt can do more than 12 with a billion dollar similar to what offer to singapore. if the newer Su-35 is in contest than rafale is going to lose on technical merits also.

any reason for L-15 FBW design by this firm.

    http://mnpk.ru/index_ing/des/
    Integrated control systems: KSU-10M for T-50 aircraft, SAU-15 for L-15 aircraft, KSU-941 for MiG-29K/KUB aircraft; KSU-35 for SU-35

export oriented F-16/M2K/J-10/Gripen/FC-1 are more or less in same class as far as air to air is concerned.

but this examples all started from USSR times.
    MiG.144 is rooted in 80s
Su-30 is base on design from 70s, just upgrade
    Tu-334 start in late 80
    etc

and when ur J-10 started? it also has roots in 1980s.

    and guess what
    Tu-334 – only 5 order
Yak-130 – not even in production
    Su-47- 1 airplane no interest
    MiG-144 – 1 airplane no interest
Tu-160 – new airplane base on old Soviet era incomplete one.

Yak-130 also has Algerian export order. the reason Russian are slow to adopt it because new engines based on AL-55 is coming and this includes for ur K-8/L-15. this is only Tuplev orders, Ilushyin and Sukhoi is addition to it. and where is ur statement that russian is buying alot of boeing/airbus?

    http://www.royfc.com/news/jun/0806jun03.html
“In the coming 2 years, the firm has 40 firm orders for the manufacture of airplanes of the Tu-204/214 family and 25 orders for the Tu-334,” the president and general designer of the firm, Igor’ Shevchuk, declared today. In particular, among the Russian customers are the Pulkovo and Transaehro airlines and among the foreign are companies of China, Cuba, Syria, Iran, and Venezuela, he explained

only Su-30MKI is doing good and u have to thank you to India for that one

even MIG-29SM is good. alteast it went to Sudan/Burma. where China has invested fortune.

you is right that China do not have same variety, but half they do not need.
China do not need Tu-160 because we have no plan to bomb USA, only Muslim people do. China is not aggressive like USSR, we just want old land back.

China cant be as aggressive as USSR as it isnt economically independent.

so much technology flow is from one side.

Pavel Tishin, regional director of RSK MiG for marketing Vremya Novosti, November 08, 2006
Question: If you demonstrate your products there this means that you count on something in the future?
Tishin: Of course, but there is one peculiarity: in conversation about the orders from China we should be very reserved because this is the agreement between the two parties. That is why, unfortunately, I cannot tell anything certain about our deeds and prospects. I can only say that we are not going to remove this show from the list of our main shows

MIG-21 can only compete against FC-1 when the former is supported by radar of some other aircraft. 57km search radar is serious short coming in air to air fight.

i do not see how it lead over China.
You show many Airliner but who is buying them? the world want Airbus and Boning, not Tuploev.

i can count several countries that are buying russian airlines from Cuba to Egypt. and ur own China.

    Even Russian buying Boning.

they are very limited in numbers untill there factories speed up to production run.

China alraedy start producing airliners and had built one a few decade ago. Chna hve better marketing power in civilian sector than Russia.

what u are making are assembling of foreign aircraft. Russians alteast take a risk of designing there own including the engine. RRJ is more ambitious project than ARJ-21. just look at new export Su-35 cockpit and than compare ur cockpits floating around.

The bombers you post..when is last time they make it? they are all old left over and all the engineer who make it, no longer work for Russia because Russia have no funding. its technology will stagnate now while China rise fast.

they still have more funding than china. look at basic research.

The economy you have no understanding in. Russia only grow because it export oil and raw resource, all other industry is dead or uncompetitive.

nope. there scientific strenght is there own. not foreign based.

China has much more diversify economy and can afford to feed engineers.
Already China surpass Russia in MBT and IFV, when new Chiense and other engine go into production, J-10 and FC-1 no longer have any Russian in them. WZ-10 show omre promise for attck helicopter than Ka-50

u have very long way to go. Iranian tank engines are Russian. MBT-2000 uses Ukranian. so where is tank export?.i am not even going into other less neutral markets.
I dont think u can make helicopter engines like VK-800/2500/3500.

No, you misunderstand the context. We both mean fear in terms of findings of any inquiry.

nope. i didnot misunderstood. read the link and understand.
if this inquiry keep continues in media irrespective of outcome than saudis will start losing the false image that have created. they draw power not only from oil but keeping 1 billion people backward as cannon fodder against west.
