The romanian IAR-93 was also retired prematurely: About half of the fleet was less than 10 years old, while many of the planes, had just a few flying hours registred.
Another nice try!
Brazilian, those are Xavante´s
I always thought, that Togo’s 326s, were of italian origin. Did some opposing information arise?
I believe those “props” are in fact L-29s
Hi googeler! I agree. Anyway the Angolan Su-24/L-29 issue has already been discussed here:http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=46519&page=15&highlight=Angola
Standardization of cuban fighters’ camouflage colours, seems to have included Mig-29s. #900 had, up to 2006, a more usual appearence:
Vatche, we’ll be waiting patiently, although I don’t think that it would be any harm if you decided to post them sooner rather than later.
One of the Lebanese Hunters that are to be refurbished, and one in flight back in 1983:
Wonder if they let Americans ‘have a look’ on the system?
That would be cheating…
Unidentified Su-25. What country/Air Force?
Regards from Spain.
Probably Uzbekistan. At least that’s what the roundel looks like.
Hi Vatche!
What happened to the plan to reintroduce a couple of Hunters in service? Just faded away?
I knew your photo, George_nkl, but no brown colour in the upper surfaces. On my photo the tails for exemple are all brown not blue… I think a new camo was applied to “unify” the Fulcrums colours whit the Floggers and Fisbheds.
But is only my opininon (and not 100% shure 🙂 )
Regards from Spain.
What I see here, is two MiG-29As (could it be the same aircraft? I guess no) wearing the same camouflage as MiG-29UB #900. Supporting this, note the black band aft to the radome, visible on both pictures.
New camo on Cuban Mig-29UB, and rare formation flight photo.
Not quite new, at least one year old. It’s also applied to single-seaters too, as is visible on stratosaurus’ picture (the closest plane is a MiG-29A).
I am in confusion, I guess that Moldovan’s MiG29 were actually sold to US (maybe not all of them) and the remaining are no flyworthy, if it is so, maybe that is not a new camo, is just rusting.

I had the same impression
the bottom pic, Red Code 67, i thought that was for the early Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker impression??
Agree on that.
And another one of the trio in the air.
