We will have to wait and see then!!!, but I have read the correspondence requesting engineering support from us if they come and we have a visit later this month from one of the pilot’s so don’t dismiss this trip just yet. At least they are looking into coming over and if they do it will it will be event of 2005

Yes Jonathan has indeed apologised just as I posted, but all I was saying is before you post please facts not assumptions. This has happened several times this year and can be upsetting/ annoying to those of us that operate aircraft.

    End of ramble.
Heres to a better year in 2005.

Another load of c**p, and before you reply to my comments I worked on Black 6 for twenty years and I can’t remember the engine being destroyed or the coolant system failing, WHAT I do know is if the pilot had the coolant system selected to auto the coolant blow off valve would not have opened causing coolant to vent on to the exhaust system and then if the pilot had given himself some time to sort himself out instead of landing half way down the grass strip she probably wouldn’t have been damaged at all. As for running out of airframe hours? the only limiting factor was the engine which had life of 200hrs before overhaul. The only reason she is in Hendon is because it was agreed at a meeting before she first flew that we would be allowed to operate her for 3 yrs. So before you make such comments get your facts right.

Visitors centre opens at 10am and last tour starts around 3:30pm, price is about £3.50. Access is the same all year round, however PZ 865 is away at Duxford

    Hope this helps

Same as the other two, however all the aircraft are stripped down for winter servicing apart from the Dak and Chipmunks.
