No source is “proven” reliable ever. The best way to actually try understand something is press review, mixing many sources and pulling what makes sense out of the bull**** you read everywhere.

Maybe globalresearch is going to be proven right when nothing at all surfaces as to what actually happened, despite the US saying they know everything.

Indeed you’re correct about the configuration, with regards of what it can carry, but it’s not really a real problem. With sufficient AAR it wouldn’t be a problem, however it comes down to where they take off of from, where the target(s) are located, what threats they have to avoid etc.

Typhoon will have Conformal Fuel Tanks (1,500litre each – 3x drop tanks worth) anyway so it’d be covered.

During the Libyan campaign RAF Tornado GR4s armed with Storm Shadows flew out from the UK then back most of the time without any issues. Rafales operated out of France but I believe they also operated out of Italy with Scalps too, and with significant amounts of fuel & still made emergency landings in Malta on several occasions.

It all depends on good planning.

When you don’t have the huge fleet of US tankers at your disposal how are you going to do it? “We” have access to their fleet because “we” are doing their dirty work, but if we have to work for our own interest then good luck to us.

I don’t see how carrying a pair of lift engines even is feasible, let alone the idea that VTOL was practical.

The F-35B was a pretty design until that awful looking lift fan door redesign. Now it’s by far the ugliest version.

I think the opposite.

I find the F35A & C ugly & useless, but with the lift fan thing I quite like the F35B’s purposeful looks.
