Nuts, and I wondered about that too, but couldn’t get it right between my head/the manual!
I consider myself suitably educated. 😀
Do I get put out of my baffled misery re. the mystery photo yet? Huh huh huh? Pretty please?!
Ah yes, I’ve built a few of those in my time! Still a great kit, especialy for it’s age, if you can find/afford one!
Now if only it was as easy to paint PA474 as ‘Sugar’… 😀
LOL well if it took even you a while Fluffy, then I’ve got no chance!
No guess on the piccy yet where are all the Lanc experts
I made a guess earlier! Wondered if that big hole was an area where the flap tubes passed through?
Thats coz he’s put them on first page!!!!!!!!
So he did! Found, and appreciated. 😀
Erm, there’s no photies..?
Hmmm, well, that’s a big long ‘ole…somewhere the flap control tubes run through?
*reaches for Lanc manual, scratching head as he goes*
Well, that’s one Lancaster enthusiast absolutely spoiled rotten, then! Thank you very much for sharing those pictures. I give up, though- what’s the penultimate one a view of?
Tease! 😀
Fingers crossed re. the photos appearing!
I am aware of the Lincolnshire Lancaster Association, however what about the rest of the flight?
The LLA supports the Flight as a whole- didn’t they help finance some replica cannons on a Hurricane, for example?
Ooh, a BBC docu on the BBMF..? Anyone know any more on that subject?
Anyway, about my question re. the Mickey Mouse artwork…anyone?!
Here’s a question for the BBMF folk that’s come via my missus- did the MOD/RAF etc have to clear the use of Mickey Mouse on the Lanc’s last nose art with Disney?!
Ooh, very nice- not seen that bit of replica S-Sugar belly before!
