Hi everyone well what a great weekend and very well organised. Well done to all involved and thankyou to all the organisers and fellow cockpit owners for making us feel very welcome. I must admiit I stood in front of some of the other cockpits in awe of the standard that they had been restored to 😉
I think one of the best moments of the weekend was when a chap asked if he could get in 887 i said yes of course just mind your head:rolleyes:….when he came out he then told me that he once served on Canberras in the 1960’s ….. we chatted for at least half an hour :D:D
Then just to put the cherry on the top WH887 won the ‘Spirt of Cockpitfest award’ well i was nearly in tears … i never exspected that ……… a huge thankyou once again to everyone involved and all the nice comments about our Canberra;)
All the best Matt
