Well done chaps this is great news!!!! someone may correct me but does no4 engine run the hydraulic systems, if so what sort of condition is she in on the hydraulic circuit?
All the best Matt;)
Come on someone must know the truth:rolleyes:
How about the T4 WJ874? will she ever fly again ?
Thats great news , well done to all… did they manage to keep all of their aircraft?
Hi Chris there seems to be a few little differences between the two………its a shame the panel from WK124 is in poor condition and the one from the T.22 is in perfect condition ,this is what swayed us to use that panel for her;)
All the best Matt
Not sure if this is the same panel but on the back of the main instrument panel we are currently building up for our TT18 WH887 is the serial number WH797 which was a T.22, is there alot of difference between the two:confused:
All the best Matt;)
Hi yes we have the complete nose section 😉
Me and my good lady went to this a couple of years back its was great!!!
Does anyone know if they will be doing a reanactment of the airfield being bombed again?;)
It would be a dream to see canberra WJ874 flying along side WK163….. does anyone know the lastest on her 😉
any pics;)
Hi i can confirm that there is no other writing on it , there is electric wire going into the side of the unit which makes me think its a type of runway light:confused:
Thanks guys 😉
Where else in the world would you see a line up like Shuttleworths?
When you go to Shuttleworth you have to step back and just think at what you are watching fly ……….. chances are it would be the only example of that type in the world that can fly !!!!! I for one take Shuttleworth forgranted as is just up the road;)
Hello we have delved a little further and found out he was based in the Cheshire area and served on barrage balloons at Crewe,
once again many thanks for everyones input;)
Hello all, I’am requireing your help in locating a Nav hatch for a our Canberra TT18, there must be one out there somewhere?
