Thanks Paul. Guess where I’ve just been, lol. Got some pretty special photos from NEMA that I will put in a new thread soon. 😀 😀
Well Done Pirate! Its pretty cool that your first shot on jp.net has done so well – 800 views on the first day! Bodes well for the future! 😎
Interestingly, getting my first shot on jp.net felt much better than getting my first shot accepted onto airliners.net. jp rules! :diablo:
That shot of one aircraft leaving and another landing was it around 2pm yesterday, if so I witnessed it from overhead, we were on a-jet’s b737-800 (their last flight) on approach to Manchester 😉
that shot was taken at about midday, but the same type of photo could have been quite a few times during the day – the aircraft rotating was G-EZAM, the aircraft doing circuits; whilst the aircraft on approach was another easy A319.
I actually saw the ajet 737-800 fly over the airport but i couldnt say at what time.
thanks 🙂
Wonderful shots Adam 😎 whats with the Saab 340?
James
Its a cargo conversion owned by RAF-Avia, same airline that operates the An-26 out of EMA. I think its based at the airport.
thanks guys!
here are a few more:

g-ezam was at the airport for training

thanks

a.net forums report that she is leaving this Sunday to begin the world (ish) tour, arriving down under on the 16th.
does anyone have any more?
a few more from me,
the snail and the moon were taken about an hour ago, and ‘the UK’ was taken a few days ago. 😎

other randoms…

me in the reflection of a Range Rover Sport

digital zoom, hence crap quality

Great shots Mark. Did you get any shots of Piper G-BMPC whilst you were there by any chance?
Any ideas who its going to hope its going to EAF
James
nope, back to Nigeria from what i have heard.
TAM has taken over Varig’s flights from Brazil to London as Varig are no longer able to fly many of its international services due to bankruptcy. TAM and GOL are both benefiting from Varig’s ‘ill-health’ as they are gaining many of the airlines routes.
Great shots Lance! Where did you go to snap the 732? You werent by the flying club/bmi hanger were you?
It took me a while to find it, but google video seems to be the only place that you can hear it – type in ‘Eddy Valenciana Story’ into video.google.com. its a 16 minute documentary on the crash – if you dont want to watch it all, just watch from the second minute.
Its one of the most horrible things i have ever listened to – you have been warned.
great shots! lucky to catch so many interesting liveries/aircraft!
