I’ll give it a listen if it’s ever released, but I’m not counting the days or anything. There have been quite a few tracks leaked over the internet. I’ve heard one of them and it was actually pretty damn good, up to their old standards even. I think the problem is that Axl is being even more of an anal perfectionist than Metallica is when they record!

Tibet is part of China. What China is doing is right insofar as their own political, moral, and ethical standards and policies are concerned. Beyond that, nothing else matters. Other nations are perfectly within their rights to have their own opinions based on their own moral and ethical standards, but they have no right to insist that the Chinese adopt those standards.

Ask Washington, London, Beijing and Moscow……they have been doing it for decades.

And they have no right to be doing so. It causes far more problems than it solves.

Ok Godwin, the Nazi party was a bad example. Why? Because Nazi Germany decided to aggressively expand by attacking its neighbors. That was clearly not an internal cultural issue, was it?

Beyond that, my point remains. What gives any one nation the right to impose its set of cultural, ethical, and moral standards on any other?

Does China have the right to systematically eradicate Tibetan culture? If China has that right, why doesn’t the West have its rights?

China has the right to handle its internal affairs as it sees fit. Just like the USA did in the 1700 and 1800s, or did the native Americans all of a sudden move somewhere else?
