Yes the case has at some point been into a gun its not just been in a clip or belt it has been loaded as can be seen by the two small notches in photo 2

Looks like two breach marks on that base but not fired was a browning found?

They are in good hands again and no doubt nothing will be spared to get them back in the air for Battle of Britain film recreation at an airfield near you.
Those engines look AWESOME as Kermit would say 2 KOOL

Been a little chilly lately so they should of used a good Antifreeze, there is a garage just outside so they can pop over and get some also a raw egg dropped in the rad should cure any leaks oh and a bit of saw dust in the gearbox

Love those last one North Weald photos I am trying to work out where they are taken it may be of the threshold of 013 looking W
The others are the apron outside where Robs Lamplough had his hangar and also looking N towards where the Squadron is now.
