New Spitfire – MH415??

I posted on the Avi-8 board this morning, but the last time I saw a photo of MH415 (in the excellent Robert J Rudhall book Battle of Britain – The Movie), she wore 222 Sqdn markings as ZD-E, in full Battle of Britain-style markings – with no cannon!

Did Connie Edwards repaint her and fit cannons prior to export?

Damn, if only my lottery numbers came up earlier! 🙁

MH434 ‘under the bridge’

There’s a photo of Ray Hanna doing the bridge stunt in a 1988 issue of Flypast magazine (which I still have lying around somewhere!) and in the excellent book “How They Made Piece of Cake”.

If I could work my F*****G scanner, I’d scan it in and send it!!!

HA1112 Trainer

I don’t know if I have a three-view, but I’m pretty certain (about 98%) I have at least a profile drawing of it.

As the HA1112 M1L and -M4L appear to be very similar from above (except for the cockpit, obviously), you could use the plan view for that?

I built FOUR single-seat HA1112s in BofB movie markings from a Canadian kit (Hobbycraft?) and might still have the plans.
