Rude? – in what way? The timings confused me anyway. Big Event said 1545 for the slot, VTTS twitter feed said 1630 and logged the Kemble departure time en route to Margate via Dunsfold. It later reported running late but unable to display at Dunsfold due to the weather. So were they late and would they have been later if they had done Dunsfold?

I was there in good time so it didn’t matter, but some rely on the information and if it is contradictory it is unhelpful.

Luvverley Hunters!!:D:D MissD, tacky!:eek: One of the best on the circuit – I only wish my airshow visits coincided with Flapjack’s appearances. From past experience one of my favourite displays.

Interesting how it compares with the three main forums in terms of threads and visits. I wouldn’t miss it that much and I contribute a lot to it. I enjoy the aviation forums very much even though I contribute less. Perhaps it just needs a rest – or we do!!;):)

What was the new venue like? previous years its been held at Cliftonville with margate sands as the new venue I could not help thinking it would have pushed the display line further out becuase of the pier and art gallery.

Interesting question. And you are quite right – the line was out beyond the two headlands either side of the sands. It didn’t seem to affect the Hawk, Tornado or Vulcan, all of which are noisy and so make a big impression even if they are a few hundred metres further away. I was on Westbrook Promenade and saw everything very well.

Well I hope Sky High made it to Margate cos 558 did!

He’ll probably say it was rubbish now! 😀

No chance Hurn! Just back home! Wish you could have seen my smile an hour ago!!:D:D:D:D I’ve waited a long time and have finally been rewarded! Fantastic! The only downside was that the heavens had opened earlier and by the time the beautiful beast arrived the beaches were rather denuded of people – it was still raining during the display and I watched from the shelter of a beachhut, but luckily the cloudbase was OK to the east with blue sky to the north and west.

I can still feel that “rumble” in the stomach!:D:D

We may probably never know. – the truth about the incident. And if it turned out that Ryanair were mainly blameless, we are certainly unlikely to hear the truth!
