I think the truth was that Patricia Routledge was an acclaimed and successful actress well before the sitcom and she felt she had done enough of it and simply wished to continue her diverse career before getting stuck in a rut. Like others of its genre I thought it was very predictable with odd moments of fun.

I echo the comments about Waiting for God – brilliant!

Last of the Summer Wine left me cold. I never saw anything funny in it – the characters were simply caricatures.

Interesting that the reviews of the sim in the professional press when it was released, have been very poor. On the basis of these previews it was on my shopping list, but I am waiting to see if it is refined.

We have only gone off-track because your question is too simplistic. And as many of us have pointed out you cannot separate injuries into those for which the individual is responsible and the rest. I like your phrase “inconvenience to NHS staff”.:rolleyes: They are there to treat ill and injured people however inconvenienced they might feel!! In fact if they do feel inconvenienced they are in the wrong job.
