Granted, Obama is an idiot yes, but he will be totally out-voted if push came to shove in an Israel-Arab situation.
(1) Vast % of US citizens are Jewish heritage – including the Government.
(2) Even larger % of US citizens have a complete dislike of Arabs and their lifestyle…it isn’t just the red-necks.
(3) Number 2 is also applicable to UK, but not in the same Yee-haa way. Ask any Briton, that if a War between the Arab states and Israel started, who would they want to win?
(4) Saudi would be in a peculiar position, given that US and UK do so much dealing with them.

It’s not a case of if, but when. Just like China v Japan et al.

Who said he was an idiot? Not me, even if I think he is a pretty useless President. However, if he is President when this highly unlikely and hypothetical conflict occurs, he is the Commander-in-Chief and President and cannot be “outvoted” as you put it.
