I can safely guarantee that none of the forum’s member will live to see the day that there are more non-believers in the US, than believers.

Just a thought – that many, perhaps a majority, of members enjoy “the real thing” more than simulation. I fly FSX a bit, but I am not a huge enthusiast. There are exchanges from time to time and I have gleaned some helpful information on behalf of others. I am sure there are forums specifically for Sim enthusiasts.
Since atheism is not believing in a god then I doubt that any of those mentioned would be atheists. They, like many millions of others regard themselves as Christian, whether they frequent church or not. And of course Christianity has within it many churches. I would also suggest that atheists are in a minority in most of the world since the majority of the nations espouse belief in one god or another. And even in those that don’t there is still overt or covert religious worship.
