You’d be hard-pushed to deny that it was………..
Excellent, Arthur – all of them, particularly the head-on Typhoon and the Hunters.:)
Absolutely, but none of those though:p. I listed the two new things I want to try…..a Tiger and a Stearman flight!!:diablo:

Good to hear that, Bubbles!:)
Your first four words are important. Let’s await the evidence proving the claims. If it is true then the individuals responsible, their superiors and the then Editor shoild be prosecuted and at the same time be suspended from their current positions within NewsCorp.
Closing the newspaper is not the answer because it does not achieve anything and plays into the hands of the anti-free press brigade.

Bubbles – picking up on Bob’s point – did people show their appreciation with coins and folding money at the weekend? I suppose last weekend and next weekend at Fairford are potentially the two best for “on-the-spot” donations, aren’t they?
Legends this weekend!!:D:D

I didn’t hear you say that………………;):diablo:
“OK these event cost money, but how can the Europeans run them more efficantly for free ?” Indeed how can they? I can only suppose that they pay nothing for the displays and that every single person involved with the shows volunteers. Is that likely? Or perhaps they are heavily sponsored.
Thanks.:D They are superb – I have to admit to keeping them in my private collection…..never for publication of course – hope that’s OK.:)
Just guessing – a lot!;) The story about F1 started in column in a NewsCorp paper written by the arts correspondent. So how much is foul rumour and how much fact remains to be seen. If the viewing figures are down it probably has to do with the sport itself rather than Beeb coverage.
