    To answer my own questions:

    1) Being taken to a toy shop on my 3rd birthday to chose my present – a Fabuland set (Fabuland being a long discontinued range of Lego)

    2) My wedding ring, my copy of the Daily Telegraph printed on 16th September 1940, my framed Brian Petch print signed by five Battle of Britain veterans given to me on my 21st, my photos of friends and family, and my rather large collection of assorted bats, bunnies, lambs, cows, ducks, bears and other creatures (all domesticated I hasten to add ;))

    3) At six years old, my sole ambition in life was to marry Kermit the Frog. At nine, my ambition was to be a nurse – but then I discovered I hate needles and gore. At sixteen I wanted to be an English teacher. I now work for the IWM as an Archive Assistant. Even as late as heading off to university I did not really have an inkling of the career path I have now found myself on.

    4) White linen shirt, pale yellow vest top underneath, black trousers, black boots, black underwear, my wedding and engagement rings, dangly silver and yellow star earrings and sterling silver watch.

    5) Chilli flavoured Walkers Sensations or Sainsburys Chilli tortilla crisps (does anyone remember Philleas Fogg tortillas? They were lovely until they decided to “improve” them by adding cocoa powder – yuck!) And Anchovy crisps sound wonderful, Moggy, I’d buy them 🙂

    6) Well, I have a habit of plucking my eyebrows then lining the plucked hairs up on the bathroom mirror, and then leaving them there…strangely, this irritates my husband just a little bit for some strange reason…that and dumping my clothes on the floor next to the laundry basket.

Hello Dave 🙂 I had not heard/read anything about any sequels being made, but it was certainly a ratings success when shown here, and has been repeated at least twice since it was originally shown, so I guess the BBC may well be prepared to made a sequel/sequels to it (if the BBC is prepared to make two series of the most dire sitcom ever made “Eyes Down”, then it can surely cough up for something like this)

This is just crying out for a comment from me, but if I make it, I will simply lower the tone of the forum yet again 😀

Steve…I am sorry to hear about your illness, I truly am, and had no idea (and no, I don’t expect people to go about spouting all their personal business before anyone says anything)

My rant yesterday, was intended to have a bit of humour in too, I apologise if I came across as a whinger. There are times in life when it just seems easier to let off steam about the little things and keep the big things to ourselves (as some of you know, I had a miscarriage last year, and I have found that sometimes it is far easier to rant about someone cutting you up on the motorway for example, than it is to deal with your inner demons)

Really didn’t mean to cause any offence 🙁

    Peace and kippers
    Becka

You too Snaps 🙂 It is a lovely sunny day here too – good run in the car down to work today, hopefully today will turn out to be much better (and sometimes it is good to let off steam like yesterday…better to type your frustration out than getting into a road rage incident or such…)

Sorry to hear about your situation Snaps, I hope it all works out for you in the end 🙂

Steve…don’t you ever have one of those days where everything gets to you? Jeez…Why don’t you try posting something interesting on the forum then, instead of just complaining about what other people write… 🙂

F 18 Hamburger…as I already work for the Museum, I think your argument is invalid, don’t you? :p

That sounds very familiar to me, Learning Slowly 🙁 Pub would be an excellent plan, but arrangements already made for tonight.

Welcome to the forums Mart 🙂 As JDK says, Alexis (BlackKnight) is the person to speak to…I certainly recall seeing a picture of the cornfield flight you mention, think it was in Aeroplane sometime around 2000/2001? Sure Alexis can confirm/offer further info on that for you 🙂

The CF-100 is one of my favourite aircraft at Duxford – I cannot tell you why as I’ve never seen it fly, but I just like the look of it 🙂

Reminds me of a t-shirt in my wardrobe – “I’ve been a naughty girl…spank me” Have chosen not to wear it to forum gatherings for some strange reason so far…:D

Stewart…formulate an e-mail/plan of action and I will pass it on to the necessary people (please bear in mind, that health and safety regulations/restrictions may mean that you may have to join the DAS and work under their “umbrella” so to speak)
