OK, on topic then, did I read somewhere that there was a MkVIII project in the UK which came out of Australia recently?
No, Mike, it’s the P-51D Mustangs that all look the same…
Or can’t you tell your Spitfires from your Hurricanes?
😉
Ummmm, there is a reason all P51D’s look the same, it’s a bit like saying all Supermarime Walrii look the same or all MkV Spitfires look the same. They are the same!!!!! Just some are better than others :p
Seriously though (unusual for me I must admit) it does make an interesting if slightly unusual effect
I may do but I think it’s more likely that I will be at Seething, we will see what the week brings.
Were there any Harvards at Rougham yesterday, in spite of being in Bury St Edmunds all weekend I completely failed to go to Rougham.
It looks like Howard has lost his roll of carpet 😀
However I would dispute the markings on that particular aircraft, are they authentic ?????
You mean this is not a flight suit modelling photograph for the next Transair catalogue???
I wonder who was responsible for that paint job?????
My what a very nice blue velvet interior the Colt has!!!
To get back on to topic for a little while I would very much like to see a B26 Marauder in the UK, my preferance would be for an airworthy machine (I know there is only 1 currently) but failing that I would love to see one preserved at Duxford in the AAM. Again an aircraft the played a vital role in Europe during WW2.
a clock? that must make them tick.
You mean something like a time bomb!!! Could explain the frequent explosions with no apparent warning or reason (or is that just the ones I’ve met over the years???)
Some of it is. It’s a big old beast when in a dismantled state.
Last spotted stored in a dismantled state in North Norfolk. Saw it on the ground in September last year but flew over a couple of months ago and it was still there, don’t think anything has been done to it in 10 years or so.
Cabbage????? Slightly more appealing than a Spitfire I guess.
Spitfires 😉 😉 Anna 😀 😀
Nasty noisy things with tiny access doors all in the wrong place!!! Not bad looking though.
Yeah, just can’t be ar$ed to go find another horse just yet… 😉
Ah but you never know when a horse may find you!!!!
Sorry to hear the news Steve, hope things work out for you.
As for what makes them tick, I don’t think that will ever be found out, for goodness sake they don’t even know themselves. Wierd bunch women!!!!
