Excellent… thanks much for that Don. I am not an RAF guru, and haven’t much reference on the subject… nor do I have a decent working knowledge of what’s available on the net, RAF-wise. The USAAF is another story, but that’s for another thread.

The ID letter on the far ship in the first photo is ‘D’. Here’s a crop from the original scan…
